Gym Etiquette

The LCBA uses gymnasiums for our games in both Edmonton Catholic and Edmonton Public Schools as well as our practices in Black Gold Regional Schools and STAR Catholic during the season.  The only way we can keep the gyms we have been given for a season is to treat these facilities with the utmost respect. 

Please be aware of the rules that are in place:

1. WATER is the ONLY beverage allowed in school gyms.  No sport drink, coffee, tea, etc...
2. NO FOOD ALLOWED
3. NEVER prop open the exterior door(s).  Please either assign someone to the door from your team for late comers or share contact details with other parents who can come and let you in when you arrive after the game has begun. 
4. Remove footwear at the front entrance.
5. Siblings must remain with you at all times; do not allow them to wonder out of sight, on stages or in hallways. 

Not abiding by these rules can result in the EYBA losing school gyms for games, resulting in less games throughout the year for your child or personally being asked to leave the game as a spectator.
