- LCBA representatives run a player evaluation session(s) to group players into teams within each division based on their development level and competitive skill sets.
- The EYBA requires teams to be placed within league Tier 1 or Tier 2 ranks (high competition) thru Tier 3+ (high development), and LBCA representatives & coaches use evaluation sessions to determine the best player placement.
- It is the goal of the LCBA to ensure all registered players are placed within leagues/teams that will benefit their athletic development.
Registration Waiting Lists
- The LCBA estimates the number of community teams and available player spots at the start of registration.
- Players will be put onto a team WAITING LIST after the estimated team spots are filled.
- Waiting list community players will only be placed on a team if:
- There are a sufficient number of players to form an additional team.
- There is a head coach available to run the additional team.
- Player parents on the waiting list will be contacted if there is available space on a team.
- Waiting list players assigned to a team must complete their registration/fees before they will be officially placed on a team.

- LCBA coaches must clear a criminal background check.
- Head coaches organize and run practices and coach at game.
- Assistant coaches help run practices and may fill-in for a head coach if needed.
